Where AI features actually belong in a B2B product

The strongest AI features do not ask users to start over. They make an existing moment faster, clearer, or easier to trust.

AI earns its place when it reduces friction in a workflow people already understand. Search, summarization, classification, and guided drafting are often more valuable than a blank chat window.

Start with the decision the user is trying to make. Then look for the information work around it that is repetitive, slow, or difficult to inspect. That is usually where an assistive model can help without taking control away.

Trust is part of the feature. Clear sources, useful fallbacks, and an easy way to correct the output matter as much as model quality.
